Rochester man arrested after high-speed chase in Penfield Sunday night | Crime
A high-speed police chase that began in Penfield Sunday night ended in an arrest in Fairport.
Around 11 p.m. Monroe County Sheriff's deputies reported that a car was speeding eastbound on Route 441. The vehicle appeared as it was going to stop, but instead accelerated and turned south on Route 250, said sheriff's spokesperson Cpl. John Helfer.
The driver was allegedly traveling over 100 miles per hour. The driver turned into the parking lot of Fairport Baptist home on Route 250 in Fairport where police took him into custody.
The driver, 32-year-old Adrian Golding of Rochester, was charged with driving without a license, unlawful fleeing and reckless driving.
He was arraigned and remanded to Monroe County Jail.
