Perinton man accused of severely beating a teenager pleaded guilty | Crime

The man accused of beating a teenager in Fairport has pleaded guilty.

Thirty-year-old Matthew Noce admitted to breaking into his ex-girlfriend's apartment last September and beating 19-year-old Matthew Fletcher while he was sleeping.

Noce originally faced attempted murder charges and pleaded guilty to first-degree assault.

Police say Noce attacked Fletcher with a metal toilet paper holder.

Noce is scheduled to be sentenced on May 2 and is expected to face 15 years in prison.
