Fairport man pleads guilty to obscenity charge | Crime

A Fairport man has pleaded guilty to obscenity in a child porn case.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, David DeAugustine admitted to having more than 600 sexually explicit images of minors on his computer. The office says those images were discovered when state police executed a search warrant at his home in September 2005.

Sentencing is scheduled for October. DeAugustine faces a maximum of 10 years in prison and up to $250,000 fine.
