Design Pool and Spa Retail Store to hold "Pool School" Refresher Course | Events

The cold air and wet snow showers isn't exactly "pool weather", but the Design Pool and Spa Retail Store in Fairport is thinking about outdoor pool weather. They are holding Pool School: Summer Refresher Course on May 1 from 10:00am to 11:30am.

The course is designed for new pool owners and those looking in need of refresher course. Topics will include basic pump and filter operations; vacuuming, backwashing and cartridge cleaning; water chemistry with a special focus on CYA or "pool stabilizers" and methods for treating and preventing algae. After the presentation, there will be an open Q&A session at the end.
