Fairport Girl Scouts in D.C. for White House kitchen garden planting

A very exciting day is in store for some Fairport Girl Scouts.

They will be helping First Lady Michelle Obama with spring planting for the White House kitchen garden and News10NBC’s Janet Lomax will be joining them.

The girls from Troop 60325 were invited to the White House after they wrote a letter to Michelle Obama about a healthy eating project.

Later today, Janet Lomax will sit down with the First Lady today for an exclusive one-on-one interview. We’ll have that interview tonight on News10NBC at 5 and 6.
