Flower City Work Camp kicks off | News

Many kids probably have the week off from school. But instead of sleeping in and kicking back, more than 500 students from our area will be fixing up homes in the community.

It's part of the Flower City Work Camp, which kicks off its 24th year this morning. The camp is made up of teens from 40 churches in Monroe County.

This year, the students plan to repair more than 60 homes for residents who are unable to do the work themselves.
