Fairport graduate Dan Fellegara killed by taxi in NYC | News
Fairport High School graduate Dan Fellegara, 29, was killed on Sunday after authorities say he was struck in the by a taxi cab in New York City.
According to NYC police, he was attempting to cross the street at an intersection around 4:30 a.m. when he fell down and was hit by the vehicle.
He was rushed to New York Downtown Hospital and was later pronounced dead.
Fellegara was living in Baltimore, Md., and worked as a project manager for Costello Construction.
He graduated from Fairport High School in 2001, where he played soccer and ran track. He later graduated from Clarkson University in 2005 with a degree in engineering.
While at FHS, was also a member of the symphonic band and National Honor Society.
