Calling hours held Wednesday for Fairport teacher killed while riding bike
Friends and family will say goodbye Wednesday to the Fairport biology teacher killed while riding her bike in Penfield Sunday morning.
Calling hours for Heather Boyum are today from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home in Fairport.
Boyum will be laid to rest Thursday morning at St. John's of Rochester church.
Sheriff's Deputies say the mother of two was killed when she was hit by a motorcycle then a car.
The driver of the motorcycle, Mark Scerbo II, is charged with manslaughter. The driver of the car, Megan Merkel, is facing a DWI charge.
According to the DMV, neither driver had a license.
